Rising young mandolin star, Bryce Milano plays a special composition for all of us quarantined at home this Mandolin Monday. Let the lovely sound of Bryce on this 2005 M01 two point built by Michael Heiden inspire us to get back to the mando wood shed this week with all our extra free time.
Bryce is a self proclaimed "multi-mandolinstrumentalist and songwriter" from Philadelphia, PA. He picked up the mandolin at the age of 9, and his appetite for learning led him to explore bluegrass, jazz, classical, and traditional folk music from around the world. After attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston he moved back to his hometown of Philadelphia and began his foray into the realm of singing and songwriting.
In between performances, Bryce keeps a busy teaching schedule. If you're interested in taking online lessons with him during this period of quarantine, contact him through his website here: https://www.brycemilano.com/contact
Here's a word from Bryce about the video, "The tune is called “Quarantune”. (How could I not?) Like everyone else I don’t have any shows to promote for a while, so be sure to follow my Instagram @brycemilano and website www.brycemilano.com for more music in lockdown."
