Rating: 1 votes, 5.00 average.
This week on Mandolin Mondays Penny Lea Clark from The Purple Hulls brings us a fiery hymn medley played on her Northfield mandolin.

Penny Lea has done it all in the country scene. Since moving to Music City, touring through 48 States in 6 months, making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, and landing a prestigious publishing deal, she decided to move back to her roots in Kilgore, TX. Now she still performs and records prolifically with her identical twin Katy Lou in their duo The Purple Hulls. They've made 4 studio albums with contributions from their older brother Banjo Ben Clark--check out their most recent release here: https://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Pur...type=ss&sr=1-5

Like Bill I have been following you and the Purple Hulls for many years. You are good folks! Glad to see you get this well deserved recognition. You should get together again with the Quebe Sisters -- that was a nice performance.

Very nice. I love how those Northfields sound in the hands of talented artists. I was also digging the fishing poles in the background. Haha

Any chance a feller might be able to get a tab of that one someplace? Great tune, impressively rendered.
