Former mandolinist with The Infamous Stringdusters and just all around mando hoss Jesse Cobb brings us a very special Mandolin Mondays with his take on the Game of Thrones theme score played on his 2011 San Juan mandolin built by Bobby Winteringham in Delores, CO.
Jesse made his start in bluegrass playing in a family band with his brothers Jed and Shad. In 2000 he decided to make a go of a music career when he moved to Nashville and quickly found work with the Fox Family Band and Ronnie Bowman. It wasn't long before The Infamous Stringdusters got their start with whom Jesse toured with extensively from 2006 to 2011.
Jesse now lives in Victoria, BC where he's helped form the new acoustic group The Unfaithful Servants. They've got a debut album set for release in late June full of original songs and instrumentals. Be on the lookout and check out their website for more info: http://www.unfaithfulservants.com
