Former mandolinist with The Infamous Stringdusters and just all around mando hoss Jesse Cobb brings us a very special Mandolin Mondays with his take on the Game of Thrones theme score played on his 2011 San Juan mandolin built by Bobby Winteringham in Delores, CO.

Jesse made his start in bluegrass playing in a family band with his brothers Jed and Shad. In 2000 he decided to make a go of a music career when he moved to Nashville and quickly found work with the Fox Family Band and Ronnie Bowman. YES!!!!!

    Jesse makes anything sound cool

I love it when a good mandolin solo holds the rhythm all on it’s own, no accompaniment necessary!

Also the person walking past and going inside at 2 mins made me laugh

    Great work!
