Mandolin Mondays #154 w/ Special Guest Luke Plumb

Rating: 2 votes, 5.00 average.
This week on Mandolin Mondays, Australian Celtic mandolin master Luke Plumb brings us a set of lively reels played on his sweet 1999 Gilchrist mandolin.

Luke has been at the forefront of the Australian acoustic music for the past 2 decades. Since a stretch of time playing and touring with the popular Scottish fusion band Shooglenifty, Luke has returned to Melbourne to pursue his solo career as producer and band leader.

Earlier this year, Luke released the album Turn & ReTurn with his new band The Circuit. He describes the music as traditional form melodies arranged in the context of groove based songs with drive and improvisations. You can check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/Turn-ReTurn-L.../dp/B079GQX5G4

Mighty fine. Turn & ReTurn samples sound great as well! Gotta love a band with mandolin and horns. My copy is on the way.
