Mandolin Mondays #150 w/ Special Guest Johnny Staats

Rating: 1 votes, 5.00 average.
West Virginia mandolin sensation Johnny Staats is with us this week on Mandolin Mondays playing this lovely original tune on his Lee Chapman Aleyas Instruments mandolin.

Since his acclaimed 2000 mandolin release Wires and Wood, Johnny Staats has stayed busy in the bluegrass scene while still keeping his day job as a UPS delivery man. He has been featured on NBC's Today Show, in People Magazine, on the CBS Evening News and CNN, and has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry. Back in the day he also won Charleston's Vandalia Gathering-Mandolin championships in 1996, 1997, and 1999.

You can check out his most recent release with his band Johnny Staats and the Delivery Boys here: https://www.amazon.com/Time-Moves-Jo.../dp/B00BQRVPJ6
