Mandolin Mondays #133 w/ Special Guest Paddy Montgomery

Rate this Entry
Australian mandolin guru Paddy Montgomery joins us on Mandolin Mondays for some Queen played on a well-loved Collings MT-L (left-handed).

Paddy is a part of many groups in Australia including the Down Under bluegrass powerhouse Buffalo Nickel--a trio with fiddler George Jackson and guitarist Daniel Watkins. They have an impressive digital EP for sale--check it out here: https://buffalonickelaus.bandcamp.com/releases

Here Paddy gives us the scoop on the video, "The piece: an arrangement of "Save Me" by Queen. Don't ask me why I chose it, I just love the song. The irony being I am wearing a Tom Petty t-shirt. (shout out to my buddy Kym Warner)"
.
Connect with Paddy at the following links below for more information about his music, touring schedule, and private lessons.

And as always, tune in next week for more Mandolin Mondays! Until then...

Happy Picking!
David
