Mandolin Mondays #118 w/ Special Guest Forrest O'Connor

Rating: 1 votes, 5.00 average.
Grammy award-winning mandolinist and song writer Forrest O'Connor is our guest on Mandolin Mondays this week! Hear him play an original untitled tune on his powerful Duff A5 mandolin.

Forrest has been knee deep in bluegrass since the beginning, being born the son of the legendary fiddler Mark O'Connor. However, Forrest has gone on to make a name for himself on the mandolin with his expressive playing and creativity. He's a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard and the former Tennessee State Mandolin Champion. Not to mention this past year he won a Grammy as songwriter and performer in the O'Connor Band.

Forrest also tours with his wife as the pop songwriting duo, Kate Lee & Forrest O'Connor. Keep an eye out for an upcoming recorded release in the near future!

Connect with Forrest at the following links below for more information about his music and touring schedule:

And as always, tune in next week for more Mandolin Mondays! Until then...

Happy Picking!
David
