• 2020 Nashville Mandolin Camp Dates, Instructors Announced

Nashville Mandolin CampGoodlettsville, Tenn. — Organizers of the Nashville Mandolin Camp have announced February 7-9, 2020 as the dates for their next gathering set to feature guest instructors Sharon Gilchrist, Nate Lee and Joe K. Walsh.

Registration opens 9:00 a.m. Central Time, October 1. Previous camp attendees may pre-register September 25 starting at 9:00 a.m.

A total of 15 campers are accepted and as every previous Nashville Mandolin Camp has sold out, early registration is strongly recommended.

On the last day of camp, campers will record a tune or song with one of the instructors, engineered by a Nashville recording engineer in the own Nashville Mandolin Camp studio. This is a musical memory a camper will have forever and something no other camp offers.

About the camp host Megan Lynch Chowning told us, "Because we limit the size of the camp, everyone that attends comes away feeling like they had a lot of focused attention on their playing. That's exactly what we want them to feel like, and we choose the very best instructors capable of delivering a quality experience. At the end of camp everyone leaves feeling like new friends have been made."

On-site lodging, tuition, and food is $800. "Day camper" spots include tuition, lunch, and snack for $650. Add on meal plans for day campers are also available.

Nashville Mandolin Camp is supported in part by Carter Vintage Guitars, Straight Up Strings and Mandolin Cafe.
