Scholarships Available for Music Camps North, Inc.

Cromwell, Conn. — Music Camps North, Inc. has announced it will award scholarships to Guitar & Mandolin Camp North on April 13 to 15, 2018, and Banjo Camp North on May 18 to 20, 2018.

The scholarships will be for the full or part of the amount to attend the weekend camp, including tuition and, if applicable, room and board. The number and amount of the scholarships will depend in part on the amount of donations received for scholarships. Music Camps North, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

"We are delighted that so far, we have received contributions from faculty, members of the Board of Directors, and campers, including one generous camper wishing to remain anonymous who has donated a full scholarship," Phil Zimmerman, President of Music Camps North, Inc. said.

"These camps provides a great opportunity for people to learn or improve their skills in banjo, mandolin, or guitar, three instruments that are central to the development of American acoustic string music."
