Finland — Jarmo Romppanen has announced the release of his third solo album, Nordic Mandolin, a collection of fresh, airy and compelling music based on Nordic fiddle tunes and traditional dance music.
This album is the result of 25 years experience and intensive studying of mandolin playing and Nordic folk music.
Romppanen has earlier released two records via his own record label Zebo Records; Päre: Hausjärvi Beat and Nordic Choro II.
This recording is published with the financial support of Svenska kulturfonden and Musiikin edistämissäätiö.
