23rd Annual Silver City NM Blues Festival
The 23rd Annual Silver City Blues Festival Announces 2018 Performers
The 23rd Annual Silver City Blues Festival will take place May 25-27, 2018, Memorial Day weekend, in Silver City, NM. This years festival continues to be free for all to enjoy. It is a supported by many local businesses and individual blues lovers.
The festival kicks-off on Friday, May 25, at 6:00 pm with two-time NM Music Award winners, The Bus Tapes. Their eclectic mix of originals and covers, everything from blues and folk to R&B ballads, has been rocking crowds since 2008.
Saturday, May 26 headlines the returning Ghost Town Blues Band. Sunday, May 27 headlines the amazing Peterson Brothers Band from Austin TX with a blend of blues, soul and funk.

The 2018 Blues Festival will have something for everyone from harmonica stars, young blues prodigies to local performers, and unique vendors to creative interactive activities for the whole family to enjoy. There are several new and exciting attractions this year.
Friday, May 25, Silver Citys very own Glasserie will put on the Gila Glass Classic Flame-Off
Paint Out Silver! A plein air painting competition in collaboration with Silver City Art Association
Steamroller printing: the Southwest Print Fiesta signature activity comes to the Blues Festival
Chalk Art Murals: a family art activity
Kneeling Nun Bike Run
Virus Theater presenting pop-up melodrama scenes
The festival will also be hosting demonstrations from local artists and organizations
Over 75 craft and food vendors
