Nice ideas - I think that "work in progress" has legs. Sounds very nice, and you're certainly getting some great tone from that Mowry.

Emory is a fantastic player, I first heard him when he was on my late Great Uncle Dick Smith's first recording with Mike O' Reilly in 1998. Great Stuff!

Didn't recognize the instrument she was playing. It would be nice if the make & year were included in every M.M. description. I know they sometimes are but I'm always curious about the mandolin & I imagine others are too.

I have happy memories of meeting Abbey (and her mum) back in 2017 at the Crossover festival in the Uk. I also recall that we had a late night "jam" on the Friday eve. Absolutely worth slowing this down to 50% to study her fantastic technique. Look for the little "gear" at the bottom of the YouTube page and go to "playback settings". There you can choose normal, 3/4, 1/2 speed etc... Superb playing!
