Sounds great Milom, thanks for sharing that tune. Really great playing and you really made that great sounding mandolin shine.
Well done sir, lovely tone on that instrument.
I’d heard good things about Gray mandolins. This video is proof of that. Great playing!
Great pickin', Milom! Your mandolin has a very good grassy tone.
Great tune, great pickin, great sound! And nothing beats an old school red/orange sunburst. Good choice
Nice, clean picking - like that tune! Thanks!
That's really lovely, great and relaxed tempo, superb sound from the F5 too. Much enjoyed, thanks!
Interesting tune in the spirit of Jesse McReynolds with a personal twist. Is the mandolin this one: https://www.discogs.com/release/3407...U6NTYwMTY0Mzk= I wanted to post the picture (that I even downloaded the picture), but there´s neither "paper clip" nor a choice wether to post a picture from a ULR or from your computer... Frustrating. If it indeed is, it has been modified to look more loarish. Is it also this?
Terrific playing a nice song. And what a mandolin!
Wow! Really nice tune, and nicely played! Love that cross picking. Good choice to play on a Jesse alumni.
That’s a beautiful tune, new to me, beautifully played. Justin’s tone is so full and resonant. Really impressive!
Noice! Thanks, David. So clean and clear, and yes, great tone.
Dude! That gets better every time I listen to it.
I really like your fluid playing, David, and your Apitius mandolin has a sweet tone.
Always good to hear from the MMMaster, himself! Thank you, David, for sharing! Great tune, tone, technique!
Great playing as always David +1
Awesome tune, and awesome playing!
Wow .. nice tune - sounds great without any backup! I must learn this one. Thank you!! Rob
Thanks Y'all!
Awesome, thanks
Thanks Cody, Very nice rendition of a great tune! Always happy to hear some good singing along with that most perfect of all instruments.
One of my favorite tunes! Great pickin' & Singin'! Thanks for Sharing Cody!! Peace, Todd
Beautiful F-5 Gilchrist, very nice singing and nice playing. I want to bring two things to attention. It is for people like David´s effort that a treasure trove of mandolin videos are building up, and that covers all sorts of styles (though I am a bluegrass guy, may I request more classical music, please). Try to notice nuances. Check out this rhythm accompaniment and compare it to a Mike Compton rhythm (like on this series). This is where you learn and where the greatness of this series lies. Also notice Cody Shuler´s ads on the cafe if you are instrument short (no financial interest).
What sight and sound for sore eyes and ears on a Monday morning! I really enjoyed this excellent vocal with accompaniment on mandolin. Thank you, Cody.
What they said! That is a lovely and peaceful tune, well played on an insanely cool instrument.
Very peaceful tune! Thank you for sharing!
Great playing and another fantastic Smart creation!!!
Very nice. Thanks for sharing this with us.
That sounds amazing. What an insanely cool instrument and a lovely tune.
Wonderful!

Awesome
Fun version of a fun tune!
BIG FUN !!! Thanks Alan.
Terrific, and I like his very casual appearance!
Thanks Magnus! Your Swedish folk music always puts me in a good mood. And I really enjoy learning the tunes as well.
Very nice
What a gorgeous melody and arrangement, Magnus! Thank you.
Excellent arrangement and playing Magnus! Thank you for the sheet music.
Great way to start the week, Magnus. A deep & haunting tune.
Excellent. Thanks for bringing us this great melody, and your fine "mandolin twists".
Excellent. Deep connection to that tune. Maybe remnants of Swedish DNA from the Peterson side of my family.
Sounds great Tom and greetings from Austin, TX. Hope all is well.
Sounds great, Tom!
A fun mash-up. Great tone!

Most of my repertoire would be unplayable on a 16" scale, about which I am mystified. Viola scale length usually between 14.25" and 14.75". My viola is 14.5". A big sound is mainly from a large enough volume, and mostly large top area. This instrument has 50% more internal volume than a Buchanan mandolin.

Very nice.
Nicely done!
Right On Tom!
