  7. My Mandolin Journey

A little bit of background on how I came to the mandolin:

To start off as simply as possible - I have been interested in playing music for as long as I can remember, but for the first 30 years of my life, mandolins were in no way a part of my musical vision. For 3 decades, I never knew anybody who played the mandolin - no friends, neighbors, relatives, school mates, co-workers, band mates; NOBODY played the mandolin.
