  3. An Interactive Story

I am going to tell you a story, the last lines of which you will please supply in the comments below. Itís a fictional story. Any resemblance between anyone in the story and any flesh and blood person is the result of a heck of a lot of work. Something like this has happened, and other things have happened too. The discrete experiences we collect throughout our lives are like individual notes. With enough of them you can write just about any tune.

  4. Mandolin Mondays #49 - Richmond

Here's another favorite crooked old time tune I learned from the playing of fiddler Bruce Molsky.

Thanks so much for watching! If you liked the video, I'd appreciate it if you'd share it with your friends on social media. 5. Mandolin Mondays #48 - In Despair

Hey everyone! In case you missed the big news, next year I'll be moving up to Boston to join the young, New England bluegrass band, Mile Twelve. I'm so excited about this new opportunity, and I'd love for you to hear the band! Here's a video of us playing and singing Bill Monroe's song "In Despair."

  6. Going It Alone

Just as I was getting the hang of covering pop songs and Americana in my acoustic duo, my partner has had to relocate out of state for family reasons. I donít like the acts that use rhythm machines, backing tracks, looping and such. I prefer to hear people perform live, as themselves. For myself, it is that, ...

  8. Searching for items that have sold on the Classifieds

A brief tutorial on how to search the Classifieds for items that have sold. Because we like viewing measurable information, it's fun to see what is selling or has sold. Many, but certainly not all sellers mark the item as such to prevent having to address additional replies.

Through some programming, any time the word Sold or sold appears in the title of the ad it's automatically changed to upper case SOLD, the idea that it stands out better in upper case. By using the Cafe's Advanced Search ...
