    Ed just got this instrument- also has an interesting comparison:
    Jim Richter's Rock & Blues Mandolin Camp was fantastic! I learned tons, and got to meet and jam with many fine folks!

    Boy, you were correct. My Hyalite D-hole OM sounded very different from the Big Sky f-hole OM. Both sounded VERY good, but I'd describe the Hyalite as sounding open, warm, and resonate, while the Big Sky sounded focused, 'ringing', and compressed. In several of the jams we were playing them ...
