After owning and playing a lot of Mandolins, I found this beauty just 30 miles from home. It is the best playing/sounding I have come across. I will never stop looking for the "perfect" mandolin, but this one will get me through until I find perfection.108159

Always liked the Big Sky. The Music Barn in G'boro had one years ago, thought it was a dandy.

So is that the Spanish version of Weber?

Look at the thread title to your specific posts above mine... They still read Re: Wever Big Sky.

Ain't it great to find the mando that makes the hairs on your neck stand up and salute?

Thanks for changing my spelling. Should have checked! Yes it is great to find one that really does it for you. My limited experience has taught me that money doesn't always buy what you want in a mandolin and that all vintage mandolins are not magic. I agree with a lot of the advice I have read here in the past, to find one that "rocks you world", and get that one.
