remove pickup?

I have a Collings MT that I'm going to have voo-dooed. It has a pickup that I never use and probably never will...do you think it's presence affects the tone enough to justify taking it out? Is the MT worth more or less with it?

I'm embarrassed to say I've forgotten what brand...it's the endjack type.

Almost all of them are endjack type. I would guess it is a K and K? Is it piezos glued inside under the top? If they are, they weigh such a tiny amount, that they do not affect the tone at all, in many people's opinion anyway. I would just leave it. If the day comes and you want to 'move it along', it certainly will not hurt the value to still have it installed. Are you a member over on the Collings Forum Mike?
