Great looking mandolin and I know the F5-A is a killer, BUT, all the extra sting coiled up looks like s__t!!

that's probably so she can wash them later and reuse them...
I almost bought one of those before I got my Weber. The one I played sounded real good. That one has a real nice color to it.

I always get yelled at by a lot of people when my strings look like that too.

You know, I have to keep my strings like that as well for self-preservation. I don't know how many times I have pierced my fingertips with an errant movement towards the sharp end of a trimmed string.

A very fine specimen, indeed! The color is just a tad lighter than my '92 Artist and just as well-flamed. I hope you are enjoying your mandolin as much as I am mine!
