Just updated my iPhone's software, and it's just begging for a cool photo to put on the lock screen. Found this on the Gibson site. (I don't have a Gibson mandolin, but who cares? Great photo!)

Anyone else find anything else (or take a photo) that looks good as a smartphone background image?

Look at the Mowry site. Some beautiful stuff there...

Here are some pictures I took with large widescreen monitors in mind:

Man, I am not digging IOS7, if anything it seems to make background images pointless, as the flat rendered icons are really hard to see against an imagine. I also notice that pictures of contacts are completely blurred out to the point of pointless when you make calls as well. And the stark white menus, yuk!

I'm having a hard time warming up to the new iPhone setup too. I kind of liked it the way it was.

Love that sepia fretboard one, Caleb. Very nice. Actually, both are awesome!

At the moment, I'm using a shot of my mandocello from this set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jwynia/sets/72157635858045853/

This one in particular:

I have two phones, a personal one and one supplied by work. The wallpaper on my personal phone is currently a larger cleaner version of this cool shot of Mr. Sam:

You can get a much bigger copy of the image here: http://www.nashvilleportraits.com/2007/48_BUSH.jpg
The one before that was a nice shot of "Hoss".

My work phone has a larger, cleaner, version of this one (sadly I don't know where I got it from):
