Ah he posts here more than time to time and is one of the major experts on the Café in regards to old Gibson mandolins.
(and seems to find the best F4's of anyone I've ever known!!!)
The description mentions no repairs but I recall I saw a pic of that mandolin with a clamp on headstock like there was scroll crack repair done on headstock.

Yes he can find the goods and a hell of a nice guy to deal with, He went above and beyond for me when I got a vintage Gibson from him. He knows his stuff and if it wasn't for guys like him we wouldn't have the wealth of knowledge on this site that we all love and use on a daily basis. "didn't win the lottery yet, or Carter would be mine!"
