An acquaintance of mine did an evil thing and sent me two beautiful practically brand-new Collings instruments for consignment. I picked this one up out of the case, played 30 seconds, and knew I was getting myself in deep. Gonna pick it up from him direct!

Beautiful little mandolin. Mine is nearly identical, except the back on mine isn't quite as flamey. Yep, you need that Collings. Doesn't sound like there will need to be much arm twisting.
