Dear NG,

I have found buzzes at the adjustible bridge, tuning knobs, truss rod cover, string posts, tail-piece cover and top bracing. But, I now find I have a buzz that I cannot track down. Any ideas?

..could be a high fret and the string is hitting it when played....or..Ive had instances where a wound string would just rattle..loose winding I suspected..

it definitly could be a high fret. you said you adjusted the truss rod cover, how about the truss rod itself? it could be that your neck isn't straight or that your action is just too low. i would take it to a local luither or music store that does adjustments and get them to look at it and adjust it. if it still buzzes after that than you might wanna have a talk with your mandolin and tell it to stop that unwanted noise. you never know, she/he might listen to ya. hope all works out for ya.

Dear NG,

It was my truss rod. Thanks to all that helped.
