Hmmm, this is actually very good! They put some intensity into it. I also remember Hayseed Dixie who did bluegrass/country versions of AC/DC songs. Any other good covers of hard rock or heavy metal tunes?

The iron Horse are great, I have their Back in Bluegrass ACDC tribute.

There are bluegrass versions of a lot of classic artists, look for the 'Pickin' On ___________ ' series all sorts of popular acts have been grassed.

Those Iron Horse covers are pretty fun. I particularly like their Shins and Modest Mouse ones. Remind me of that Gourds cover of Gin and Juice.

While it wasn't metal, and it isn't bluegrass, it is timely: Willie Nelson's cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Would have been just about 22 years ago I first heard that song on my local college radio station.
