I always remember Bill's birthday because it just so happens to be mine, too! As a mandolin player, there's nothing better than sharing your birthday with Big Mon himself (well, maybe if some of the talent was included). :) My wife just so happens to share her birthday with Doc Watson (March 3rd), so when I listen to Bill and Doc play, I think my marriage must have been bluegrass destiny!

Two years ago we had a Bluegrass Jam at Sept. 13 and forgot to celebrate his 100th birthday. It's a shame!
