Wanted to let you all know about a Monroe birthday celebration happening in San Diego this Friday, September 13th.... Tyler Grant (former National Flatpicking Champion and San Diego native) has organized an acoustic trio to honor the Father of Bluegrass on his birthday. We've worked up a real nice set of Monroe tunes, love to see some folks at the show. Details here...

Thank you for a fantastic tribute to Bill Monroe celebrating his birthday..awesome venue and musicianship!
I got to thank Tyler personally (Julian fiddle camp alumni) but didn't get an opportunity to say hi and thank you..
So a big Thanks for coming to SD and performing..you guys sounded great!
If I may, what mandolin were you playing? It had such a great tone!
If you decide to move to SD area..I'll sign up for lessons!!!
