This is one that I have recently finished. F-style with Red Spruce top, Sugar Maple back, sides and neck. Varnish finish and always nice Waverly tuners. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful Lee. I'm currently building one and using the same binding. Also love the font style in your logo.....do you mind sharing the source.

WoW!, that is one fantastic looking F-5!, Some of you makers have got it going on. Anyone would and should feel lucky to own and play that horn. There are so many top level guys like you out there its just too bad most of us can't play em unless we buy one or are lucky enough to run into one at a fest or something. Most of us come from a mando deprived area. "So many great mandolins just so very little $$$"

Thanks for all the comments. First, yes I plan on posting a sound clip or a video sometime this week. Second, I cut all of the inlay for my instruments myself... so sorry I can't help on sourcing out that work. Although it would save me some headaches if I would look into that.
Again, thanks for all the comments.

I had the privilege to play this beauty last weekend and let me tell you it is a monster. Very powerful volume and very rich in tone. Playability is superb and the craftsmanship is second to none. I did not want to give it back.

Very nice work indeed. The back/sides are beautifully figured and that peghead design is a winner.

A quick sound bite #12. Been playing this mando for the past couple days and it is exceptional.

That's Jim for posting the video. I would still like to record the mandolin on a condensor mic with no effects to see what it would sound like. Maybe we can do that this weekend sometime and I'll post it.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying it mandopicker23.

Here is the discription that I have for it in the database I keep on the mandolins.

Brown to yellow sunburst with oil varnish base coats and spirit varnish top coat. James tailpice and Grover A-Style 309 tuning machines"
