They played a concert in our area last night. I didnt go but in the publicity shots one of the fellows in the band appears to be playing an octave mandolin or possibly a bouzouki? Does anyone know about this? They are a very up and coming country act and have very young fans. Could this mean an upward swing in CBOM popularity?

I read here it was a Weber Octave, but I've seen him and her play different types of mandolins. Pretty neat!

Don,
I saw them on a country music special on TV. Wow, what band!
Neil Perry plays a Weber Big Horn Plus Octave Mandolin. I found the information on the Weber site under Featured Artists.
Now I want one of those, too...

The mando player also plays an Ellis, interestingly enough.
