New Kentucky KM-505 with pics

I am now the proud owner of a Kentucky KM-505. I picked it up yesterday. It will replace my Epiphone MM-30 which was my first mandolin purchased last September. The Epi served me well and is a good instrument to learn on. It will hopefully be going to a new home soon. I will post a more detailed review after we have bonded a bit. If there are any 505 owners out there with tips or opinions, I would love to hear them.

Congratuletions! Will you transfer the Allen tailpiece on the Eppi over to the new Kentucky? It would be a shame to let it go.

Congratuletions! Will you transfer the Allen tailpiece on the Eppi over to the new Kentucky? It would be a shame to let it go.
Gonna try it on the new Kentucky and let my ears decide. I like the look of the stock Kentucky tailpiece, and changing strings on the Allen is a pain, so if they sound the same I will sell the Allen.
