Two very nice looking instruments. How do you like the sound and playability of them?

I'm very impressed with the MD604 at the price level. Very playable. At the highest end and lowest end (frequency-wise) you notice a drop off in sound quality somewhat. If you're playing in the "butter" areas, though, it sounds very good. This mando also has a pickup and an XLR out, works well although an external preamp is desirable.

The Weber mandola is a cut above my skill level on it at the moment, but I think it sounds really cool. I'm also fine transposing on the fly. I'm a bass player (upright and electric) when I'm not playing mando so I'm very interested in the lower toned members of the mando family, and started with this one. I'll comment further after it's had a string change and setup. Clearly a very nice instrument. Has a pickup and 1/4 inch output that work very well.
