View Full Version : 1920s John Bencic Bugarija/Flatback Bouzouki

This thing is so very cool. As a tamburitza-family instrument fan and owner of a Bencic tambura, I needed to have this. It's alleviated some zouk aq. syndrome as well!

It's got a pretty typical OM/zouk-size body though the neck is a deep U shape. The tops on most of these seem to have that "domed" thing going on as well, so it reminds me a bit of a less-severe Weymann.

Wow, that is one of the nicer ones I have seen. Also the body depth looks deeper than most.

Sure -- will try and do a video later. It's worth being exposed. I love the tone on this -- very 1970s Planxty in character, if'n ya know what I mean.
