I haven't seen tab, although it seems like it would be easy enough to figure out. Here is a link to a great mando-centric performance of it, though.

The 'heron' verse is a nice addition, and the playing's very nice, but boy, have they prettified it. #I much prefer the New Lost City Rambler's version of it.

Jack Tuttle's Bluegrass Mandolin book, vol 2, has Old Man at the Mill, with tab and music notation. #www.jacktuttle.com is his website. #I really like his books -- excellent versions, in common keys, with chords and pick directions where helpful. #His fiddle books are excellent, too.

No financial interest, etc.

Don't need 'em now, thanks! Bought me an Eastman 815 last night, put the Rambler's version of the tune on the CD player, had it down (well, crudely) in 15 minutes. Onward & upward!
