You can't buy this off the shelf.

... and in better light, you can see it in all of its purple glory.

One guitar that just wanted to be a mandolin....I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. #The lonely guitar that suffered from mandolin envy until that one magical day when the luthier popped out of the lamp and granted him his wish. #Very nice there Mike.

There was a picture of an archtop guitar with a scroll a while back. Anyone still have it to repost? It looked really cool

Neat!

FM, don't know if this was what you're thinking about, but I know John Monteleone made a Grand Artist guitar (http://www.monteleone.net/a-gdaFront-l.jpg) once.. It kind of had a Gibson Style O (http://www.greatguitars.com.au/StyleO.jpg) feel to it. Gibson harp guitars (http://home.earthlink.net/~minermusic/charliebrown.jpg) had scrolls too. I think Danny Ferrington made some scroll acoustic guitars for Elvis Costello - very funky!
