National RM1 maple versus walnut body

Any National RM1 mandolin owners out there can describe the difference that the two woods National use might make to the sound of the RM1?

We discussed the topic (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/group.php?do=discuss&gmid=25717) a while back. Perhaps you'll get more feedback now that the maple version has been out for awhile.

I have both in stock. I would say the walnut has a slightly warmer sound, the maple more clarity. Personally I prefer the walnut.
