Drool indeed. The first tenor player I ever saw, Kentucky Graham with Jake Speed & the Freddies, plays on an beautiful old Gibson archtop. Not sure his guitar is a TG-50 but it sure is a sweet look & sound. Just hearing it led me to understand that there was a whole four-string world beyond my old TB-1 banjo (now tuned "Irish" to GDAE.)
I am not convinced that this is a TG 50..... The body looks soo svelte. Check it against this sunburst TG 50....
A special ordered L 30 tenor perhaps?

The black finish is pretty unusual but I think that MdJ might be correct that this is a TG-30. You can see the 6 string version here (http://www.retrofret.com/products.asp?ProductID=5644).
Kind of dark pic but you can see the shape.

What ever it is, I care not. I just know I want it. Alas, it is not in the cards at this point.

Agreed Not a TG-50 -- they had the 16" lower bout like an L-50. There were several smaller arch top tenors in the Gibson line. Still a very nice tenor and the price is decent too.
Lovely in black, if I had the cash I'd be hovering over that Buy It Now...
The L-50 went through three body styles, as shown on this page: http://www.acousticmusic.org/Archtop-Guitars-p-1-c-20.html but I don't recall seeing a 14 3/4", F hole version. I love the first one, which seems to be the Kalamazoo KG-11 outline in archtop form. In any case the white script logo instead of inlaid pearl would suggest a TG-30 rather than a 50. Grandpa Banana had a lovely TG-50 with the round hole and 14 3/4" body on his website for ages, which would have been my perfect archtop tenor.

I don't know if it is just the lighting but that fretboard looks pretty light for a rosewood. Compare to the six string. I would almost prefer it in ebony so it didn't stand out so much. If I was ordering one...
