That's nothing... I saw a chair covered in MOP at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA. It looked tiled!

If only they had paid as much attention to the shape of the scroll as they did on the inlays, it might have ended up looking good.

The telltale crown tailpiece and over-the-top inlays are give-away clues to its Vietnamese origins.

I wonder if that is the case, and inside the walls are 6 inches of solid MOP carved in the shape of an F-style mandolin?
