I had one before with zebrawood back. It's a very responsive instrument, and I was amazed by the volume that it's able to put out, esp. considering how thin the sides are. Chris definitely knows how to build and tune them.

He make a host of great mandolins. I like his unique tonewood options. Enjoy it. It should be a keeper!
