Jim Richter's Blues Mandolin and Beyond -
I am very impressed by what Fender is putting together in Indonesia. #Frankly, I think the Squire’s out of Indonesia are every bit as good or better than Fender’s mid-priced line. #I have a strat with three lipstick pickups that’s killer. #Among those instruments, I would include the new Mando-Strat, a reissue of the classic Fender Electric Mandolin that was made from the late 50′s through the early 70′s. #I’ve owned a ’63 and this mandolin–which I paid $250 for through Music 123–is every bit as good as that one but without the price tag.
