Yeah, I don't even think a mandobird will fit. But he says he's sellin' them without any returns. I guess it's time to measure the ol' 'bird.
Id love to know if a bird fits that case, I just had mine arrive and I'm a bit worried about taking it to shows

Just measured mine; if it's really 2.5" it'd be REALLY tight.

Maybe see if he can PlastiGage the space? (an engine crankshaft rebuilders reference tool)

I won an auction cheap for one of these cases for my bird...I measured everything and if the info was correct it should fit.....Ill let you know once I receive it
I just received the case....very nicely made and it fits a mandobird like it was made for it.......nice and snug fit.
Once its in place you can take the case and stand it on its edge and the mandobird will not move or slide around at all....feet for horizontal and vertical, decent hardware, and storage w/lid, thats not quite wide enough to lay a pack of strings flat but they will fit......the neck slot is radiused for a normal size mando neck, but it seems to work fine for this smaller profile emando neck too
Great deal, and I feel alot better about taking this out into the real world, where drunk girls step up on to the stage to make a request and goofy rednecks just want to help pack up the stage
