Learned my first song this week Wildwood Flower I just have 9960 hours left, I feel like in the first grade, but this is fun. already wanting to get a new mandolin

Bon voyage, Tommy, you can't beat a bit of Wildwood Flower. This was one of the first tunes I ever learned, from Jack Tottle's book. Now I had to play it again:

If you are going to pick a first tune to work on, Wildwood Flower is a good'un.

Very nice for the first one. You will find there is so much fun in this stupid instrument that you will be challenged and frustrated for years to come. Have fun.
