Whoops!
In my fury to answer, I didn't catch "deceased" or "mandolin player" when I answered "Beppe Gambetta" . My apologies to Beppe. I see that Scotti beat me by a minute anyway. I shouldn't have Googled to get A. P.'s names!

I remember when David introduced Joe Val as the only person who could sing Bill Monroe with an Italian Yankee accent. It got a huge laugh from the crowd and "Diamond Joe" especially. I believe he and David recorded a project together shortly afterwards.
