My latest instrument build, Crystal Forest #0113-015

This one has an Engelmann spruce top, red-curly maple back sides and neck, rosewood fretboard and peghead overlay. Ebony nut 1 1/8", ebony compensated adjustable bridge. Neck has adjustable steel truss rod. Grover 309, 18:1 tuning machines (nickel plated) and Scalloped nickel plated tailpiece, Crystal Forest M.O.P. inlay on peghead. Pearl position markers on fretboard and side. Mandolin overall length 24 1/2", Body width 9 1/2", Body Depth 1 1/2", Top and back have induced radius of 96". Nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

that is one of the most beautiful mandolins that I have ever seen!

I have always loved the army/navy style and I have been wanting one for a long time.

Nice! What is the binding & heel cap? The almost black-on-white contrast looks really clean.

The binding is black plastic. The heel cap and peghead overlay are both rosewood.

Very nice. Those Crystal Forest models are some of the best 'Army & Navy' builds I've ever seen.
