I owned this beauty for over 20 years. The gentleman I bought it from was the estate of Julian Cramer. Julian was the second owner. He received it in payment for painting a house for a doctor in Indianapolis. Julian has a bit of a jack of all trades....an live long batchelor that played music at the Battleground Festival etc. He wore a beret and lived in a house full of stuff in Martinsville, Indiana. I had to interview for the instrument in front of his brothers and sisters. This was their departed brother's most prized posession. I had a leg up on the process in that I went to high schoo with Julian's niece and nephew.

Note the missing peghead scroll ....the tail piece cover was missing in action also and the binding down the neck were in the case.

Also note the keys and the way the old version overlapped the scroll....

Great instrument.....wish I still had it but all sorts of medical bills wiped out my collection.

Yes thanks to you for the wonderful tailpiece cover.....those that don't know what a skilled and very accurate maker of misc pieces you are should take note.....you also sold me a piece for the pickguard clamp....
