Picked up a mandolin from somebody who was just getting rid of it. I thought it looked nice and thought it'd be cool to learn how to play. Thank you for helping out

I am pretty sure it was made by KayKraft/Kay, possibly 1940s?

Definitely an old Kay. I recently sold one that was a match for any $1000 F holer I've met.
