Hello!
I´m Markus, from Austria!
I think that I can´t speak English very good but I´ll try to improve it..
My dad is musician and so I´m too :D
I´m playing drums(10 years),mandolin(4 months), ukulele (3 months), bass (3 months), guitar (just a little bit...for 2 months) and piano (3 weeks) and I sing and I write my own songs.
I like Nirvana,Beirut,Pearl Jam, the Foo Fighters,Rush and much more :)
It´s cool to play mandolin, because it´s an instrument wich isn´t played by everybody!

Hi, and welcome. Your English is better and 99% of our German. You're right, mandolin is not played by everyone, guitar is much more common.

Hello Carlos!
I can play "Losing my Religion" already! And I can play much more songs (You´re the everything as example).
But sometimes I think that a song sounds better when it´s played on the ukulele...
My favourite mandolinsong is "Rise" wich is written by Eddie Vedder. He and Kurt Cobain are my idols in songwriting!
"Wishlist" is one of my favourite songs....
I hope that I improve my playing and my English here!

Bass: Fender Square (it´s my brothers bass but I play on it too)

Hello Markus & welcome. Don't worry about your English on here,in fact being a member may help you with it. It's nice to hear of somebody playing 'Rock' music on mandolin as a way to learn.When i began playing,i got my 'Eagles' song book out & tried to play as many of the songs as i could,learning the mandolin chords as i went - very enjoyable,
