I'm listening to this CD as i write this. Very nice. Great CD for listening to jazz standards on mandolin, where you can really hear the mandolin instead of having it buried in cluttered arranjements.

[Here's a link to the album.] (http://www.bluenightrecords.com/angeleyes.html)

As an aside, does anyone know if Don teaches lessons?

Glauber,
I consider listening to "Angel Eyes" and "Unseasonably Cool" as lessons each time I hear them. Both should be in the CD rack of EVERY mandolin player no matter the genre of music they play.

Yup.
He's a very busy man, but you can probably catch him between manicures. Email him at his Website (http://donstiernberg.com).
Don's about as down-to-earth approachable as any mando-superstar can be. (At least that's the consensus of most of us who worship him...)

Let's hope the manicurists don't keep him too busy, then. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
