This one's a little less shocking. But it turns out I probably won't use either of them. Ah well.
Bonus points if you can tell me whose mandolin G.F. has made off with.

Sorry, but I can't remember who did this one but I definitely kept it. I had posted the photo of how this quilt back looked with a light behind it and this is where it went from there.

I can't find it anywhere but years ago, I saw on the web a picture of Batman, from the comics not from the movie or television, a picture of Batman playing the banjo. There was a companion picture of Joker, sitting down, with a limberjack, and the limberjack was a crude whittled image of Robin.
I neglected to save the pictures or the link, but they were very very well done. Photoshopped not drawn.

Also this one. Ever wondered what a green two-point oval hole Collings mandolin would look like? Apparently, at some point I did.

For all of the members that might be new the last few years we have had several photoshop threads in the past.
Here are some links to previous such threads.

Mandohack (Ted) (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?13946-Photoshop-Mandohack&highlight=photoshop)

Some of the newer members may not be familiar with a couple of these people since they do not post as much as they used to but they are still fun/funny threads.

Hmmm ... Turns out I DO have PhotoShop after all - it was just on the drive from my old computer - and it still works (even if it's version 6.5). Fair warning! ;) :disbelief:  :whistling:

I think of that album as NEW Kansas, not the good old stuff. How's that for dated?

Jim, I've had this picture in the back of my mind for the last few years. I've been waiting a couple years to revive this thread with a mando back that was planet worthy. Here is my planet mando inspired photoshop pic preceded by a photo of a mandolin that looks very planetary.............
