Just received yesterday. Love it! Red spruce top, big leaf maple back and sides, stew-mac restoration worm under tuners, 1-3/16ths nut, traditional "cremona" burst, all else basic.

This completes the two orders I made two years ago (the Cohen being done in the Spring).

So you decided to give Larry another go. That's a real nice looking A-style. My 2006 F-style sounds better than ever. Larry was out here to the Coast last month and we got together for a visit (an annual occurrence). He gave my mando the once-over and pronounced it to be in very good health. Congratulations on the new one. I've been thinking about having Larry build me an A-style, as well. He's not building as many these days, and even considered not taking any more orders, in favour of building a few on spec. He has relented, however, and is taking orders again.

My former Muth F-5 was very well received by it's owner. I even checked back with her a year later and she remained very happy.
I learned from my three F-5, that they are not my taste.
I do like the understated elegance of the A's though. . .

I agree on the "understate elegance." Congratulations! Enjoy!
