Well...here is some pics of the new F5 recently finished and ready for sale. I like taking a little artistic liberty and made this fingerboard shorter. I also like the Allen tailpiece decked out in nickel. My mandolins are all made with hand tools.. Enjoy the pics!

Its beautiful, I really like your scroll. I'm sure it sounds great. Your A model that I played at our Mando Tasting at Grey Fox was one of the nicest A's I had in my hands, and we get some high end mandos to compare , so there is no question about craftsmanship. I will continue to sing your praises in western Pennsylvania, and where ever I travel. I hope you sell lots of mandos and hope to see you at Grey Fox next year. Dick Wade

I dream of the day I can call one of those mandolins my own, but I am still saying and counting the days

I had the pleasure of participating in a wooden instrument maker's evening at the Northeast Woodworker's Association earlier this month. I did a presentation on my wooden penny whistles, and Marty gave one on his violin making techniques. Marty-- it was great seeing what you do and how you do it.
People, if you're not familiar with Marty's work you should be. It's absolutely first rate.

Beautiful work. I love the contemporary interpretation of the F5 scrolls. The A5s on your website look wonderful.
